Wombs & Water
In my journey of self-exploration, I’ve traced my origins to two profound forces: Motherhood and Waves. Like everyone, I came from my mother, but in my case, she was everything. She raised me entirely on her own, and when I look in the mirror, I see her reflection. It’s as if she created me from scratch, entirely by her hand.
Waves represent my other origin. Water has always felt like my true home. I learned to swim before I could walk, and every time I immerse myself in a lake, the sea, or even a pool, I feel the water cradle me, reminding me that this is where I belong.
These origins inspire my work, blending the precision of parametric design with the organic nature of clay. I use Grasshopper for 3D modeling and a WASP clay printer to craft stoneware vases. But I take it further by merging modern clay printing with the traditional art of wheel throwing, transforming each piece into something unique, both in form and spirit.
